| SUMMARY: | Four sections: (1) literature review of task management and (2) problem solving; (3)
experiment to analyze TM strategies; (4) TM Taxonomies (TM functions, TM task groupings,
TM metaphor, TM language). Comprehensive CTM and Problem Solving (with an emphasis on cognitive psychology) literature review. Identification of what qualities of an expert make him/her perform CTM better. The experiment results in an extension of CTM theory previously developed. Identifies four taxonomies for CTM: TM Functions, TM Task Groupings, TM Metaphor, TM Language. Recommends to train tactical skills, and aid strategic skills. |
